For my Portrait Study I chose a picture of Zac Efron that has contrast, highlight and shadows. I used the pencil tool and the eyedropper tool to create this piece of art. My favorite part of this project was doing the eye because if you zoom in really close in his eye its multiple different colors which was fun to re-create. I also enjoyed doing the nose because it had a lot of different shadows, I feel that the nose turned out very good. My least favorite part/the part I could improve on is the beard, since I ran out of time I didn't have time to put as much detail into the beard as I would have hoped.
This years google for doodle theme is what inspires you? What inspires me is people. What I did was take 6 peoples jobs I would maybe want to be when I'm older and make them into a thing instead of drawing the person. The capital G is a stethoscope for surgeons or doctors. The o stands for a soccer ball for a soccer player. The other o is paint palette for an artist. The lower case g is a firemens hose for a fireman. The L is a beaker for a scientist. The E is a camera. These peoples jobs each inspire in a different way.
My design represents my brand through emojis. I believe that I am funny, talkactive, sassy, smart, and strong. The emoji that is laughing so hard your crying emoji is suppose to be someone laughing at my joke, representing I'm funny. The emoji with the glasses is suppose to look like a nerd, saying that I'm smart. The emoji that has his mouth open like he is talking is suppose to be talkactive, meaning I talk a lot sometimes even to much. The girl emoji with her hand up is suppose to be sassy, explaining that I always have an answer for everything and I say it in a sassy sort of way. Last of all the arm that is flexing is suppose to be strong, symbolizing that I am strong physically and mentally.
Notice anything different? I moved the tigers sign downed to the field and get rid of Miguel Cabrera. What I did: I used the lasso tool around the tigers sign, then refined its edges. After that I selected it and was able to move it. For Miguel Cabrera I used the lasso tool and then hit the delete button to make him disappear!
This a picture of Comerica Park. What I did, I used they black and white tool which made everything black and white. Then I used the eraser tool to color the parts I wanted. The eraser tool converted the score board back to the original color.
This is Comerica park. What I did was, take the exposed tool and turn it all the way up to make the field bright green when I erased it. Then I took the eraser tool to actually make the field bright green. After that I went back around the edges and made them nice and clean because sometimes I went out of the lines.
In design tech we were assigned to take 2 pictures and combined them. So my friends and I decided to have us walking around the world. This is a picture of Egypt with me and my friends walking in it. What I did was, take all of the pictures and put them on a separate layer. Then I cut the background out from behind my friends and me using the lasso tool. Then I was able to move the us around without having to move the whole picture. After that I made us smaller and moved us into a position that made us look like we were walking.
